Upon your request, we will provide you with a superbill to get reimbursement from your insurance company. The amount reimbursed varies depending on the insurance company. You will need to contact your insurance company prior to the initial appointment to determine your out-of-network benefits.
Why are we out-of network with insurance?
There are several reasons, and your best interest is at the very front of the why.
For example, not everyone who seeks counseling meets the criteria for a mental health diagnosis, but this is required for services to be “medically necessary” in order to bill insurance. This means you have to accept being assigned a diagnosis to receive benefits. You get to determine if you want a superbill to bill your insurance. This requires a diagnosis, but the choice is up to you.
From a privacy standpoint, your records may also be requested as part of an insurance audit which deters many from seeking care.
From a care perspective, some insurance contracts determine the length and focus of counseling sessions. You deserve to have the care you need and we look forward to collaboratively discussing this with you.

Cash, check, HSA cards and all major credit cards accepted for payment.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment or you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance before cancelling, you will be required to your full rate as a late cancellation/no-show fee. See the other policies included in the form below.
